Wolf Hertlein has been building up the complaints and improvement management at Technische Universität Darmstadt (Germany) since 2010. is head of where he has been working since 2010. He is also responsible for cases of discrimination and assaults against students and is involved in initiatives to improve the situation of students in many contexts. Wolf Hertlein studied mathematics, biology and other subjects at the universities of Konstanz, Ulm and Oldenburg and completed mediator training. He co-initiated the german-wide network of complaint and improvement managers and ombudspersons in studies and teaching. He is married and the father of four daughters.

Wolf Hertlein hat an der TU Darmstadt das Beschwerde- und Verbesserungsmanagement seit 2010 aufgebaut. Er ist an der TU auch zuständig für Fälle von Diskriminierung und Übergriffen gegenüber Studierenden und in vielen Zusammenhängen für die Verbesserung der Situation von Studierenden engagiert. Wolf Hertlein hat an den Universitäten Konstanz, Ulm und Oldenburg unter anderem Mathematik und Biologie studiert und eine Mediatoren-Ausbildung absolviert. In Deutschland hat er das Netzwerk der Beschwerde- und Verbesserungsmanager*innen sowie der Ombudspersonen in Studium und Lehre an deutschen Hochschulen mitinitiiert. Wolf Hertlein ist verheiratet und Vater von vier Töchtern.
